Watch the video of Michael Schütz's lecture on September 9, 2019 Creativity and morphology

The Wilhelm Salber Library was optimally occupied with 21 visitors when Michael Schütz, a graduate psychologist from Cologne, began his lecture. His topic was "Creativity and Morphology". First he gave an insight into different concepts of and investigations into the phenomenon "creativity". Creative processes in music, engineering and design were vividly described with morphological terms. At the end of his lecture, Mr. Schütz talked about an art action on the longing for "eternal youth", which was carried out together with Monika Heimann. In the very lively discussion that followed, the relationship between psychaesthetics (W. Salber), the creative process and the unconscious in particular was discussed. The video shows the lecture without the discussion.
