Watch the video of Werner Pohlmann's lecture on October 14, 2019 Intersubjectivity

For the second time Werner Pohlmann was a guest in the Wilhelm Salber Library. The topic of his lecture this time was "Intersubjectivity". In it he first dealt with newer approaches in psychoanalysis, which regard the therapeutic process as an exchange of two interlocutors (subjects), in which something third arises, which more or less overlaps the two. Then the speaker cited the views of the philosophers Dilthey, Cassirer and Scheler on the concept of subjectivity, which led his reflections on the morphological concepts of units of action and units of action. In the discussion, those present explored, among other things, the question of how the observation of "the particular", the "individual" can be grasped theoretically and methodologically from a morphological perspective. An extremely stimulating, a very interesting evening!
